Psalm 108

O God.my heart is fixed : i will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, psaltryand harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, o LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reacheth unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth; That thy beloved may be delivered:save with thy right hand, and answer me. God hath spoken in His holiness I will rejoice,.........Who will bring me into the city? who will lead me to Edom? Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts? Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly. Psalm 108:1-7a & 10-13a

"And there where in the same country shepherds abiding in the feild, keeping watch over their flocks by night. And, lo, the angel of the LORD came upon them, and the glory of the LORD shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them; " Fear not: for, behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the LORD. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger". And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying; "GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST, AND ON EARTH PEACE, GOOD WILL TOWARD MEN".
